Sky Light Center, an ICCD clubhouse on Staten Island, recently celebrated 20 years of service to the community with a gala affair at the South Shore Country Club. Sky Light was started twenty years ago by a dedicated group of members of the newly formed Staten Island Alliance for the Mentally Ill (now NAMI-SI) who wanted to bring the Fountainhouse model of psychiatric rehabilitation to Staten Island. Staff, members, board members and invited guests enjoyed the evening, reminiscing over the successes and challenges of the past 20 years.
